In case binding, the pages and the hard cover (the case) are prepared separately, and then the bound pages are glued into the case. The pages may be bound by any method - sewn, glued, stapled, or any combination of these. These days, nearly all commercial books are made using some form of the case binding technique, and this is the method taught in this booklet.
